India's Ministry of Finance is considering extending countervailing duties on stainless steel sheets from China for another five years. We are talking about cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel.
The tariff is 18.95%. Earlier, sister companies Jindal Stainless and Jindal Stainless (Hisar) had approached the department. The proposal has been approved by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry
